At Washington Crossing Historic Park, George Washington led his ragged troops across the ice-choked Delaware and assaulted the unsuspecting Hessians at Trenton. His victory bolstered sagging morale, changing the course of the American Revolution.
The 500-acre site and recreational area includes 13 historic buildings, the noted 100-acre Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve and observation tower, and many picnic areas.
Hours of Operation
Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, noon to 5 p.m., Closed certain holidays, except Christmas Day, Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day.
Visiting hours may change on a seasonal basis.

ESTABLISHED in 1934 featuring woods, meadows, small pond, Pidcock Creek. The Preserve's native wildflowers, ferns, shrubs, and trees are displayed in naturalistic settings along trails. Exhibits and shops are located in Visitor Center. Hours: Open all year; Building open daily 9 am-5 pm; Grounds 8:30 a.m. to sunset.
